On Wednesday, June 24th 2009 John Alden and Ryan Martinez attended Camp Evergreen Summer Camp located on SIUC's campus. The camp is designed primarily for children living in the family apartment complex off of West Pleasant Hill road in Carbondale, Illinois. During their time at camp they participated in, "All-Stars" week that included water games, relay races, and snack! John was welcomed by all the camp members and encouraged to come back for another adventure! Together they traveled 52.92 miles from the Wham building to Camp Evergreen and home. Overall, John has traveled approximately 245.48 miles this summer.
